Experience

  •  GIS software (ESRI ArcGIS / Arc Info)
  •  Image analyses (ERDAS Imagine, eCognition, ILWIS & ENVI)
  •  Office applications (MS Office)
  •  Statistical Software (SPSS & Minitab)
  •  Database Design

Education

April, 2002- July 2006 Ph.D. in Precision Farming from Freiburg University, Germany under titled: Precision farming in small farmland using remote sensing and GIS. I produced site specific management zones for rice and cotton crops based soil and yield data after I did many statistical relationship and models between yield and soil

limiting factors. I were build the spatial modeling based on the Results of statistical models to produce the management zones maps for two crops.

Oct.1997- May 2001 M.Sc.  Soil Pedology and remote sensing from Cairo University, Egypt under titled: Monitoring soil productivity in some areas in north Nile delta, Egypt.

I produced soil mapping from aerial photograph and monitored soil productivity through of thirty years. Soil and water samples were collected and analyzed. Land use and  land  cover  mapping  produced  based  on  remote sensing satellite images.

Oct. 1990 – Jun.1994 B.Sc. Soil Sciences from Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University, Egypt.

03/2007 – 06/2007:   Postdoctoral  student,    Zhejiang University, China.

07/2008 – 09/2008: Postdoctoral student, Copenhagen University, Denmark.

011/2009 – 01/2010:   Postdoctoral student,  Stuttgart University, Germany.
